Ptosha Storey is a versatile stage, television and film actor, singer, voice-over specialist, motivational speaker,
director and acting coach with extensive experience and credits. She has a duel Bachelors degree in Acting
and African American Studies with a minor in Sociology. Also, Ptosha has been a professional performer for
over 15 years and is currently a member of SAG- Aftra and Equity unions.
Director/ Acting Instructor: Ptosha has taught acting for several years: (Intensive Acting Workshops (all ages), On Going Acting Classes, Privates Coaching and High School Acting Instructor for many years and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Theater at Southern Methodist University (SMU). She has directed numerous plays regionally and locally. She was awarded the prestigious Leon Rabin award for her direction of “ A Women Called Truth” in Dallas Texas.
Selected TV, Film & Radio performances include: "The Soul Man with Cedric The Entertainer, “Numbers” “Strong Medicine”, “Moesha”, “Madison Heights”, The Road To Galveston”, “High Ambition”, “Rocket Power”, “Unsolved Mysteries”, and “Wishbone”. Selected Voice –over credits include “Nascar”, “Farmers Insurance”, “Rocket Power”, “It’s Your World”(Tom Joyners nationally syndicated radio soap opera), “Saints Row I and II”(Xbox 360 game), and “Juiced”(pap game). Regional Stage performances include : “Crowns” the musical (written and directed by Regina Taylor). ”King Lear” (Directed by and starring Charles S. Dutton), “A Black Women’s Blues” (with all star cast Venessa Bell Calloway, Wendy Raquel Robinson and Dawn Lewis). The Musical ” Let God Be God” (starring established R&B vocalist, Brenda Lee Edgar)."Stand Your Ground" at The Black Rep in St, Louis , “Joe Turner’s Come and Gone” at the Stage West Theater. “Godspel” the Bathhouse Theatre. To name a few.
